Lasting 0 minutes, the pilots of the European category went to the track for taking the time, which was set the starting grid of the two races of the weekend.

Fraga in his best lap (1.50.067) dropped out in 11th on Saturday, marking also the 5th best time in the grid this Sunday (25). The first qualifying round of the season was also marked by three red flags.

The race:

The Brazilian who runs with the support of Red Bull / Sparco Brazil made a good start, winning two positions on the first lap. Fraga kept his pace in the race three times during the Safety Car came out on the track.

The pilot held the 7th position when the last round was played by French Esteban Ocon (Koiranen Motorsport) and ended up abandoning the race.

"Today it was a mi ture of feelings, I was super confident in qualifying. During the race I tried to keep a good pace, but always with caution
because, as was the first race of the season, had a lot of desperate people. Unfortunately I was hit on the last lap . it is very disappointing that you think will be among the top ten and finish the race that way. But I can not lose focus and have to return to the track tomorrow and do the best again, "said the Brazilian.

The boss of the Tech 1 Racing, Simon Abadie, praised the performance of Brazil in its first official race. "I was not satisfied just as impressed
with the performance of Felipe on the track. Tomorrow will be a great day."

The Tocantins Boy back to Monza Autodromo Internazionale on Sunday for the second race of the weekend. Also with 25 minutes a lap, the race takes place at 9:45 am (GMT).
